Ok….Ok….this was funny. But I believe I may actually have a remedy for you. LOL! As a Christian I did the 21 day Daniel fast and of course, with that fast you can only eat…for 21 days fruits and veggies and water….not really anything more. But you can season things as long as they are grown from the ground. So what I would do with spinach is I would get asparagus….frozen…and either baby spinach (which is better) or regular spinach…frozen….but all organic. I would mix the asparagus and the spinach in a frying pan….let it sit cooking there over the stove until it was defrosted…than I would put olive oil over it and the only seasoning i would use was ALOT of garlic….fresh or ground….and season it with a little salt. And depending on what kind of mood I was in I’d put some powdered curry. Not bad at all and really fast. but the garlic is the key….now my parents or my brother’s wife, when it’s my time to cook….they ask me to make that. So I must have done something right. Try it….it may actually be the solution and you will no longer have to keep on telling yourself “taste has no pain” instead you may enjoy it. But like with anything in life….there is no guarantees except with salvation…lol. Awesome blog….pretty cool.

I have a great spinach snack!

Heat the spinach (in a pan preferably) with a little bit of butter, thyme and some crushed garlic (not to much, like half a clove max). Once nicely wilted, stick it in a bowl and kinda mush it all up together. I even like to blend it a bit.

Get out some feta. Add feta chunks to spinach. Mix lightly with your hands so that the feta doesn;t get too smooshed.
    Eat!

Great on toast or baked in puff pastry!

It’s one of my favourite home made starters for dinner!
